Director Lee Wonnell presented the world a lot of great horror films, some of which are already recognized as a classic. But it is probably the most famous for the fact that it stands at the sources of the franchise "Saw". Lee became the author of the scenario for the first three parts of the film, but later refused to participate in it, and recently it turned out that it was weighty, but at the same time a very funny reason.
In an interview with Podlblend, Wonnell admitted that, probably, he would continue to shoot a "saw" if it were not for one simple "but": his stock of creative ideas for cruel and bloody murders was exhausted.
I could not come up with new ways, how to kill or dismember anyone. It forced me to feel complete impotence,
- told the director.
Indeed, any Slacher film suggests that even more terrifying murders continuously will continue in the eyes of the audience, but "saw" brought this rule to a completely different level. Film films demonstrate perverted killings in combination with moral dilemmas, which makes them truly unique.
And if he is no longer holding the blood of the fans of Horror "saw", something terrible in his reserve is still there. Already on March 5, the Invisible Man comes to the screens with Elizabeth Moss in the lead role. And the fans of "saws" will be able to see the ninth of the franchise from May 15 in the cinemas. This time in the center of the plot will be the characters of Chris Roca and Samuel L. Jackson.
