Despite the success of the "Game of Thrones", the first attempt to shield the fantasy novels of George R.R. Martin was far from the ideal so much that the project was barely not closed at all. Soon the book will be released "The fire cannot kill the dragon: the game of thrones and an unpacked history of the epic series", in which, as obviously from the title, will be revealed by the famous show. In the meantime, ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY published an exclusive excerpt from the upcoming publication - it's about the first attempt to run the "game of the throne". Artist's role Jame Lanner Nikolai Koster-Waldau says:
No one knew what they did there and that it was generally for the damn. I remember that at the time of arrival King Robert it seemed to me that all this was simply ridiculous. An attempt was absurd to create this parallel universe, populated so noble people. It is very subtle and requiring the balance of the line between seriousness and suspicion, as if it is only cosplay. At that time, there was definitely no feeling that it would get an unusually influential hit. But we were fun.
Lina Hidi (Sersa Lannister) adds:
In the original pilot, I looked like a pop dancer from Vegas - in furs and with a massive hairstyle, just like a medieval dolly parone. Not that I complained, because I liked the other way around. My hair switched to the project.
Duet Showranner David Benioff and Dan Wayss concludes:
At first it seemed to us that everything was not bad, but this is because because of the lack of experience, we have nothing to compare with. As you dive into work, the existing cracks have grown into full-fledged cracks, which over time have already become gaping.
