The film is based on the Roman Erica Jagier "Last Duel: a truthful story about crimes, scandals and a tribunale in medieval France." The novel tells about the best friends, the knights of Jean de Board and Jacques Lers. Friendship ended after the second raped his wife first. Faced with the fact that Le-Gri has strong intercessors who do not believe that he could do this, the carboy turns directly to the king of France Carlo crazy with a request to resolve the case in a court duel to death.
Matt Damon will play Lersh, Adam Driver will be Jean Card. The role of Ben Affleck is unknown, on the frames he is a blond, dressed as a high-ranking court.
