During a conversation with Slash Film, the director of the "confrontation" Josh Bun confirmed that the film adaptation of the work of Stephen King will be released with the rating of R. But the author's original ideas will not be simplified as in the 1994 screening:
We were able to remove the series at a high level, in terms of what is meant by the ranking R. Then, at the time of filming the first series, they simply could not shoot. During work, we thought about the film "close contacts of the third degree", and more about the films of Stephen Spielberg of the 1970s and the pictures of Oliver Stone 1990s. We like mixed it all together to tell the epic and gloomy fantasy. I think we got cool.
It has previously known that specifically for this series Stephen King wrote the plot of the final series, the events in which will come out beyond the borders of the book and will answer the questions that the readers arose, about the fate of the heroes of the work.
In the series they starred Goldberg, Alexander Skarsgard, Joan Adepo, Heather Graham, Owen Tig, Odessa Yang, Nat Wolfe, James Marsden, Amber Herd and Henry Zaga.
Premiere is expected this year on the CBS All Access Channel.
