The final series of the first season of the series "Terrible fairy tales: the city of Angelov" came out on June 28. The other day it became known that ShowTime TV channel decided not to extend the series for the second season. The official channel of the channel does not say about the reasons for such a decision:
Showtime decided not to extend the series "Scary fairy tales: the city of Angels" in the second season. We want to thank the producers of John Logan and Michael Agilara, as well as the entire cast and the film crew for their work on this project.
The series was the heir to the successful series "Terrible fairy tales", whose action unfolded in Victorian London. In the "city of Angelov", as obvious from the name, the action was transferred to Los Angeles and occurs 50 years after the events of the previous one, during the third term of Franklin Roosevelt. The detectives of Thiago Vega (Daniel Dzazitto) and Lewis Micheryra (Neanan Leit) entrusted to investigate the monstrous murder. But during the investigation, there are constantly distracted by different things: racial intolerance, attempts by the Nazis to seize power in the US and the tricks of Demonian Magda (Natalie Dormer).
