First, Martin Scorsese allowed himself a harsh lunge to Marvel films, then Francis Ford Coppola supported his colleague in even more sharp expressions, and now the superhero genre got from one more mastty director. In a conversation with IndieWire, Terry Guilliam, who puts such films as "Brazil", Monti Pajton and the Sacred Grail and Brothers, spoke out against the film "Black Panther" (2018), who at one time gathered a huge cashier and gained universal confession. Gillim said:

"Black Panther" causes only disgust in me. This film drives me crazy. He inspires the little black child to the faith in certain ideals. But this is a nonsense of a dog. I think those people who have removed this film have never been to Africa. They just hired some designers and artists to come up with for them costumes in the African style and other scenery. But the film is simply anti for me - partly due to the fact that the media promoted the idea about the great importance of some nonsense.

This Guilliam added that he dislikes all superhero blockbusters with dislike, as they do not come into contact with real life. According to the director, the main problem of such films is that everything is possible in them, while it is "restrictions make life interesting." Gilliam calls the superhero film by the play, which is repeated again and again, setting in the minds of people a false thought that something worthwhile can be done, only being a superhero.
