According to Deadline, the debut romance of Stephen King Karry will receive another decree - this time in the form of a mini-series. The cable TV channel FX is engaged in the development of the film, but at the moment the project is at an early stage of production and has not yet acquired a screenwriter. There are no additional information about the future film yet.
The last Cairry Roman's film adaptation was published in 2013. The picture was called Texienez, and the main roles in it were performed by Chloe Grace Market, Julianna Moore, Gabriella Wilde and Judy Greer.
At the same time, the first film design of the cult horror came back in 1976. The film was put by Brian de Palma, while the cast included such famous artists as Sissi Spacek, Piper Laurie and John Travolta. In 1999, this picture received Sicvel, who, however, did not decrease success. Finally, there is also a television film based on Karry, shot in 2002.
The mini-series "Carrie" from FX will be a company of a number of other forthcoming films on the works of Stephen King. So, recently, the EPIX television channel ordered the series by the story of King "Settlement Jerusalem" with Adrian Brody, the film should be released in 2020. In January, the HBO will be released on the ignition of King "strangers", while CBS is preparing for the release of the mini-series on the novel "Confrontation".
