Directed by Patty Jenkins, standing at the head of the superhero franchise "Miracle Woman", commented on the possibility of creating a third film with Gadot Gal in the image of the brave Princess of Amazons. According to Jenkins, the authors viewed the option with a trilogy while creating the first picture from the series, so the release of "Wonder Women 3" is very likely, although there are no guarantees for this account.
In a conversation with Collider, Jenkins said about this:
To admit, we already have the entire plot [for the "Wonder Women 3"], because this is the same film about Amazons. We have already planned the further development of events. The case remains only to whether we will not change my mind later, and if not, when we can do this project.
Jenkins also warned that the break between the "Miracle Woman: 1984" and the "Wonder Woman 3" could be quite long. The first two films were produced one by one, but in the case of the potential third part of Jenkins and Gadot, they would need to relax for a while. In addition, the creators would not like the wonder-woman to come to the audience:
We do not want to rush with the filming of the third film. It was great to practically do not interrupt the work, making the available two films, but I think that we will then need a small rest. I would like to switch to something else. Gal also has other things. I do not want to make early decisions. Let's see if we want both to remove another film when the moment will come to endure the final decision.
As you can see, in the coming years, the "Wonder Women 3" should not wait, but there are still chances for it. In the meantime, the second part of the franchise "Miracle Woman: 1984" is being prepared for the exit. The premiere of the picture will take place on June 4, 2020.
