The excitement around the upcoming series "Witcher" with Henry Cavill continues to grow. Now the Festival of Lucca Comics & Games is now the Festival of Lucca Comics & Games, in which the science fiction writer Andrzey Sapkovsky together with the actors and the film crew of the series gave many interviews. Communicating with the Italian resource Sugarpulp, Sapkovsky admitted that he really did not care what fate the creators of the television show would help for Geralha from Rivia.
I don't care about what happens to my character in a film or any other contexts - even though I created it and he will always be mine,
- said Sapkovsky.
Also, the 71-year-old writer commented on his trial against CD Project Red, which develops famous video games within the Franchise "Witcher". In 2018, Sapkovsky filed a company to the court, wanting to receive deductions for the use of his literary heritage, but the writer's lawsuit was not satisfied. On this occasion, Saapkov said:
As for trials with CD Projest, it came out of my control, because it became too large-scale. At the same time, I would like to add that at this stage career money does not mean anything for me.
Finally, Sapkovsky talked about his work as a writer and about the very process of literary creativity:
I just write words, folding letters in the right order. But when I write, I see nothing, I do not imagine anything. I know the difference between craft and creativity, but I know for sure that I am an artist. I'm damn artist! I create my books just like Leonardo wrote Mona Lisa.
The premiere of "Witcher" will take place on December 20th this year.
