Also, the 71-year-old writer commented on his trial against CD Project Red, which develops famous video games within the Franchise "Witcher". In 2018, Sapkovsky filed a company to the court, wanting to receive deductions for the use of his literary heritage, but the writer's lawsuit was not satisfied. On this occasion, Saapkov said:

As for trials with CD Projest, it came out of my control, because it became too large-scale. At the same time, I would like to add that at this stage career money does not mean anything for me.

Finally, Sapkovsky talked about his work as a writer and about the very process of literary creativity:

I just write words, folding letters in the right order. But when I write, I see nothing, I do not imagine anything. I know the difference between craft and creativity, but I know for sure that I am an artist. I'm damn artist! I create my books just like Leonardo wrote Mona Lisa.

The premiere of "Witcher" will take place on December 20th this year.
