As part of an interview with Corriere La Lettura, Angey Sapkovsky writer, who gave the world a legendary history of Geralsta from Rivia, said that the new wave of interest in fantasy genre is largely obliged to the cutting services that people often look like such series.
As an example, the author's "Witcher" called, of course, "the game of the throne" and suggested that the future of the netflix brainchild would definitely give up the long-term work of Benioffe and Wisers, and perhaps even surpass it. Sapkovsky shared his attitude to the books of George Martin, saying that "there are too many heroes in them." According to the writer, somehow he was interested in Martin, why he constantly kills his characters, and he answered that he likes it.

The writer remembered how his way began in the amazing genre of Fantasy, when about 30 years ago he decided to participate in the competition magazine "Fantasy". Seeing the Competitors of the Lyuber and Roger's competitors, the Sapkovsky understood that he needed a fresh topic for the plot, and turned to folklore.
As a result, the prints of Polish fairy tales were put on his work, but, unfortunately, some scene nuances are inevitably lost when translating. But the master hero of the "Witcher" writer came up with when he read a fairy tale about the shoemaker who defeats the dragon. True, he decided that the stories with such a major hero would not be interesting to anyone.
The film "Witcher" with Henry Cavilor should enter in December 2019, but the exact dates of the creators of the series are not yet called.
