The atmospheric series of Netflix about adolescents who want to live ordinary life, fall in love and joke - and instead, once, at times, they prevent local apocalypse in their native town, has become popular with the audience. As it turned out, even the "horror king" Stephen King follows the development of the plot and gives interviews periodic references to the brainchild of the Daffer brothers.
It is not surprising that fans are not ready to accept the death of one of the central characters of the series, Sheriff Hopper. Once at once they are looking for hooks that will allow the scripts to return the hero to life.
This time the final stage of the season was the focus of attention. After the titles, the viewer shows a Russian prison in Kamchatka, where the soldiers mention a certain American in one of the chambers. If, for Russian fans, their speech was quite clear, then the American fans learned that it was definitely about a man (the word American in subtitles can designate a person of any sex) not so long ago. The joy of a new guess splashed first on the page of the network, and then into the popular tabloid The Sun.
By the way, David Harbor, who fulfilled the role of Sheriff, in October visited the program of Set Myers Late Night. The presenter did not fail to ask the actor the same question that torments the rest of the fans: whether Hopper is alive. David replied:
I always knew that Hopper would have to sacrifice himself.
After that, he admitted that she also did not know the further fate of his hero - and called the scripts right in the middle of the interview. Actor answered Ross Daffer, who, however, did not make clarity either:
