Disney will make another attempt to give a new life of the classic comedy of 1993 "Focus-Pokus", the main roles in which Bett Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Katie Nadzhimi. At the moment, the project is at an early stage of development. Apparently, the audience is waiting for the continuation of the original picture. Nothing is known about the cast of the upcoming film, but there is hope that Trio Midler-Parker-Nadzhimi in one form or another will return to its former roles.
The 1993 film tells about how three witches executed in the distant past for their crimes randomly returned to life and again took up their dark things. Over time, "Focus Pokus" acquired a cult status. Two years ago, Disney has already tried to create a new version of the film, intending to release it on his TV channel. As a result, however, the project never received the green light.
The new "Focus Pokus" fits into the Disney strategy for remakes and sequels based on its classic films. The company intends to create its own extensive media library, which will be available to the subscribers of Disney +, the cutting platform, the launch of which will be held in November of this year. Part of the Mediamatka Disney and must be new versions of the long-faced paintings. Another such project will be "Lady and Tragging", the film will be released on November 12th.
The script for restarting "Focus-Pokus" will write Gen D'ANGello, who previously worked on such shows as "happy together", "from Los Angeles in Vegas", "WorkArcholics" and "City of Pictures".
