Soon "boom" can gain a continuation in the form of spin-off, key roles in which are assigned to female characters. It is reported that the shooting of the pilot episode has already started. Moreover, the leadership of the lead role in the new "arrows" Catherine McNamara confirmed that the project was called "Green Arrow and Canaries".

In addition to McNamara (Mia SMOOK / Green Arrow), leading roles in the upcoming pilot will play Katie Cassidy (Laurel Lance / Black Canary E-2) and Julian Harques (Dina Drake / Black Canary E-1). At the same time, it is important that the final decision on the fate of the "female" version of the "arrows" will be made later. If the pilot series does not receive a proper response from the audience, it is possible that the project will not turn into a full-fledged series. If everything is successful, fans can expect new episodes of the "green boom and canary" in the fall of 2020.
Apparently, the spin-off pilot will be included in the eighth and final season of the original "arrows", becoming its ninth episode, as well as the penultimate episode of the entire series. It is also reported that the shooting of the five-party crossover "crisis on endless lands" can be completed shortly after the work on the final series of "arrows" will end.
