It seemed that Henry Cavil was worth a great effort to get the role of Geralhal from Rivia in the upcoming TV series "Witcher", which was produced by Netflix. The actor passionately wanted to realize the famous hero on the screen and achieved his own. Despite the indisputable complexity of Geralta from Rivia and the World "Witcher" in general, Cavill said that he did not need special preparation to merge with his new character. According to the actor, it became possible due to the fact that he is a long-standing fan of both the novels of the Angea Sapkovsky "Saga about the Witcher" and the series of the video games created by the Polish studio CD Projekt Red. It is these sources that have formed the basis of the new series.
