The Egyptian Theater cinema celebrated the 25-year anniversary of the "inborn killers" of Oliver Stone. The film tells the story of modern Bonnie and Clyde, who are struggling in the United States and make brutal murders. Along with the director, the event was visited by performers of the main roles of Woody Harrelson and Juliet Lewis.
Despite the fact that the "killers" gathered an eminent caste and as many as three awards of the "Venetian Film Festival", the film categorically did not want to see in Hollywood. Still at the stage of production, Stone collided with many obstacles: for example, Quentin Tarantino, the author of the "murderers" script, asked not to associate him with this film. The director believes that his work did not understand:
The violence in the film was satirical. I had the story of creating films with realistic violence, and I thought that in this picture it was not literal, but metaphorical, excessive, even closely not like real violence.
And even 25 years later during the celebration of the anniversary Studio Warner Bros. refused to show the director's version of "inborn killers." According to Stone, this version of the script turned out even more bloody than the one that got into large screens.
