A recent film with Kate Winslet "Ammonit" has become a fairly discussed, and this is connected, according to the actress, with intimate scenes, in which Kate starred along with the sires of Ronan. In an interview with Digital Spy, the Winslet noted that it was asked about the bed scenes of this film much more often than other similar scenes with the participation of men.
"People say more about love scenes in the Ammonite, because there are two women. Put the hand on the heart: I have never asked me so much about the heterosexual bed scenes - which there were quite a lot in my life. It seems to me that we must more often show the love stories of representatives of the LGBT community. In Ammonit, the relations of two people are shown, it simply turned out that these are women. There is nothing shameful in this, these are just two women who love each other. I really hope that evolution will occur, and the audience will calmly look at the LGBT representatives and their relationship that such relations will become the norm, "Kate shared.
Previously, speaking about the filming of intimate scenes in Ammonit, Kate noted that she and Sirshi did not have a special coordinator who helps the actors relax and act more naturally in frank scenes.
