The series "Supernatural" was supposed to be completed in May, but the coronavirus pandemic destroyed all the plans. Back in August, Jensen Ekls said that the last two episodes of the show had to change somewhat, given, in how unprecedented time they are removed, and since then the fans were guessing, it was strongly influenced by the final.
But the Showranner Andrew Dubb in a recent interview with TV Line finally clarified this issue.
We still do whatever, from the point of view of characters, plot and mythology,
He said. The producer added that sometimes they had to make concessions and "simplify the path", which leads heroes to the final.
He admitted that the film crew planned a certain "superecastravagant thing", but in the conditions of coronavirus, it was not necessary to follow the initial idea.
We found an alternative to get to this point plot and, more importantly, emotionally, and it worked perfectly,

Finally, Showranner stressed that, despite the essential need to adapt to the realities of the world, no fundamental changes in the plot did not happen.
