According to judicial documents, during hearings, the lawyer Jamie claimed that her client should have some powers granted only to him, since since 2019 he is the keeper of the Britney property.
The lawyer of the singer in response to that said that Jamie's idea "creates confusion" and allows him to hire people from the outside, bypassing Bessemer Trust. He repeated that Britney does not want her father to remain her guardian. Then the Spears lawyer stated that the singer in 2019 herself agreed to appoint Father the Keeper of her property.
In the end, the judge rejected the objection to the side of the Spears and signed an order that gives Jamie and the mentioned fund equal authority. It is reported that Britney will be under guardianship at least until September 3, 2021.
