In one of the last interviews, the producer itself expressed insecurity in the preservation of the spring date. The fact is that the epidemiological situation in the US and the world is still depressing: the dynamics of incidence of coronavirus is still quite high. Because of this, more than half of the cinemas remain closed, including the main platforms - New York and Los Angeles. The Variety portal believes that on the background of this in the near future, the next wave of the transfers of the pictures will be held, which should have been released in the first half of 2021.
The site notes that the Disney's Guide may partly follow the example of Warner Bros., having released certain spring releases, including the superhero MARVEL fighter, on a hybrid release model - simultaneously in cinemas and on its streaming service, as it was already with Mulan and will be with a cartoon Raya and Last Dragon. According to experts, to organize a similar release is beneficial only for the medium-budget tapes, but it is almost unrealistic to enhance the costs of a multi-million blockbuster, so it is more likely that the "black widow" will simply be transferred.
