Ermi Hammer: "I made a tattoo, it was worth paying tribute to my Slavic heritage"

Anonim

Ermi, good afternoon! Please tell us a little about how did you get involved in this incredibly interesting project? Have a film processing, disputes with agents, records, some scandalous stories?

No, no, no scandals (laughs!) Even a little sorry, so with the go and you will not think of anything. Everything was very easy and simple: no samples, no agents. I and Tarmese met for a cup of coffee, and he says to me: "I want to shoot this film." What I told him that I'm just for! I believe that he is awesome director, and I was ready for everything he would be in mind. To my happiness, he answered me that he could not imagine anyone else in this role. So I got the role of an excellent prince.

Ermi Hammer:

So simple?

Yes exactly! It does not happen easier!

How did your first rehearsals with Snow White?

Wonderful! We first met in Canada, it seems, we then simply trained - these were the first attempts in fencing on swords. At first we worked very carefully, uncertainly, and then - Bam Bam Bam! - as a pro. This is a very entertaining and unique skill for the actor. Many consider fencing on the swords of the remnant of the past, but if the Apocalypse of the Renaissance will suddenly happen, then I will definite exactly for myself!

Child, you were familiar with the history of Snow White?

To be honest, no! Many ask if I remember when I first heard this story. But I, even kill, do not remember.

And what is your favorite fairy tale?

My favorite, mmmm. Good question! (tapping on the table with fingertips)

Just do not say that you have grown on comics ...

Okay, I will not say (laughs). And what should I say then? No, in fact, you know, actually, I grew up on the Cayman Islands, there we read in the comics about the adolescent Archie.

You take place from a family of very successful businessmen, and, for sure, your career care for the acting career brought a big stir in the family. How did your parents react to the fact that you do not want to manage family business?

Very painful how you can imagine.

Have you even left school for the sake of art?

Yes, indeed, I am more than confident that at some point my father was ready for me to simply "hang." Of course, I was accused of being that I was, the only Hammer, who would not graduate from school, and then college that I would not get MBA and in general, the only one's family. But in the end, my parents wanted me to be happy, and therefore agreed with my decision. And not at all because I chose myself a fun life, full entertainment, - they saw how passionate about this business, and how much it means for me.

Parents helped you in the first stages?

I had to work out to feed myself. I taught the kids playing guitar. Fortunately, I chose several theatrical courses, and this was enough to approach your parents and say: "Look, I kind of in college would be very cool if you could help a little." My part-time and money from my parents was enough to hold out afloat, and I am very grateful to my parents for help.

What was the work with Julia Robert?

Great experience! She is finished professional! It owns the material well, the acting equipment, it is very carefully prepared for everything! It's a pleasure to work with it.

Ermi Hammer:

She also has a very subtle sense of humor ...

Oh yeah! Every day filming with her was full of jokes and laughter. She is an incredible person, and very easy to contact.

The most difficult and interesting thing, what did you have to do on the site?

Air films, coups with insurance, knuckles, various jumps, falls, fencing. I had to ride a lot and fall.

Are you all the tricks yourself?

Yes, practically. I tried to do everything myself as far as possible.

What tricks did not give you to perform yourself?

In one scene, the Prince enough monster and carries it in the air, and then throws about the tree. I saw Kyle Wicar, my dubler, raised on a special crane to a height of 10 meters and launched into the tree, several times in a row! I didn't even offer this trick to do it yourself. I sat on the sidelines and encouraged Kyle: "Yes, brother, like this, you have everything perfectly!"

What does this tattoo mean on your wrist? Probably, it was very painful to prick?

This is my surname written by Cyrillic.

Cyrillic?

I made this tattoo when I was 18 years old. I put it on her to pay tribute to my Slavic heritage. My brother wears the same, my father too. Our family came from the Soviet Union, my Prapraded Armand was born in New York, but constantly went there - here. He had a chance to work with Lenin and Brezhnev, Gorbachev. He very cleverly moved away from Stalin, as he knew that the "friendship" would not bring him to the good. My great-grandfather was engaged in great politics and trade with Russia. I know that he was a key figure in organizing the summit between Reagan and Gorbachev.

Are you interested in politics?

No, not particularly.

Sounds very intriguing.

Yes, but the times were others. Now politics and political figures play at all other rules. And to be honest, the policy is unlikely to ever become an interesting subject for me.

Evaluate the handsome Ermi as a prince you can in all cinemas of the country from March 15.
