Going out in the last year, the final part of the "Saga Infinity" found a mad success, becoming the most cash film in history. True, it turned out now that this picture was the first one who managed in such a status not to receive a single statuette "Oscar".
Despite the fact that Disney as applicants for Oscar put forward 13 artists from "Avengers: Final", the film eventually received only one nomination - in the category "Best Visual Effects". But here the superhero blockbuster brothers Rousseau did not win, because the reward got the military drama "1917". That was how the campaign "Avengers" for Oscar ended, however, Marvel Studios was unlikely to be too upset about this.
And yet, such an outcome gives James Cameron to smoke to smugly smoking, because his "Titanic", and then "Avatar", being the most cash films, were able to conquer a whole bouquet of Oscars. In 1998, "Titanic" at 14 nominations won 11 awards - at that time such indicators were recorded. As for the "Avatar", in 2010 this film was awarded awards in such nominations as "best visual effects", "best scenery" and "best work of the operator".
However, even leading speech about the most cash films of all times, it is worth notify that inflation is not taken into account in this rating. If this factor is taken into account, then the most successful picture to this day remains "worked by the wind", released in 1939. On Oscar, 1940 Victor Fleming Cordenec with Vivien Lee and Clark Gablom received 13 nominations, winning in eight of them.
