Theo James and Rose Leslie will play the main roles in the upcoming HBO series on the novel "the wife of the traveler in time." Founded on the book of the same name Audrey Niffenegger, the project will tell the history of Claire and Henry, as well as their marriage with a big problem - men's travels in time.
Claire is described as a dustless, intelligent and uncontrolling girl who kept an amazing secret to most of his life. With six years she had an imaginary friend: a kind and funny man - sometimes an old, sometimes young, - which appears in the forest for her home and tells her fairy tales about the future. After years, when she turns into a young woman, she begins to understand that her friend is not imaginary: he is a traveler in time coming from the future. Once, Claire will meet with a young man named Henry, whom she will know very well, but who does not recognize it at all, and she will be the wife of the traveler in time.
Joining the TV series returns Leslie back to HBO, as it previously embodied the game for several seasons of the popular series "Game of Thrones". Teo James is most famous for the role in the trilogy "Divergent". Stephen Moffat, who worked on the "Doctor who" and "Sherlock", will write the adaptation of the novel for the series.
