The fans of the "walking dead" are looking forward to the return of Rick of Gheims performed by Andrew Lincoln in the first full-length film of the Universe. Of course, from the very beginning it was clear that this project would differ from the series, and the author of the original comic books Robert Kirkman in one of the recent interviews shared his opinion about the peculiarities of the coming tape.
Though Rick Gheims will remain the same character as the audience learned and loved him, which happened around him will acquire a completely different tone. According to the creator of the "walking dead", the whole thing in the difference between the shooting of an ensemble history with a constantly changing composition and the plot focused on one character.
"I think the show is an ensemble story, but in many ways it is the story of Rick. So, I suppose you can be able to focus on Rica as a character - it's really cool, "said Kirkman.
Rick was indeed the first character that appeared in the "walking dead", and the pilot episode was devoted to how he independently examines the consequences of a zombie apocalypse. For several seasons, he remained the center of the narration, but as other heroes gradually appeared and their own stories were expanding, the show acquired an ensemble character.
In the same interview, Kirkman warned that the audience is waiting for the "whole other story" about the "walking dead", which will truly exciting.
"When you do something like this, you need to make sure that it will be the film. Not just some extension of events shown in the show. It will be something completely different, but there will be Rick Grahims, which we all know and love, "the author summarized.
