Hope was justified: the picture really managed to get into the short list of films who compete for the "Oscar" nomination in the category "Best Film Foreign Language".
In total, 5 nominees will be presented in this category, which will surpass for Oscar during the coming ceremony on March 4, 2018. In the short list, 9 paintings were entered, and the total application for participation in this nomination filed 92 countries, which is a record indicator in the entire history of Oscar.
