Netflix streaming service is preparing another star Romka. According to Variety edition, the project was called "players" (Players), and the main roles in it will be performed by Gina Rodriguez ("Virgin Jane"), Damon Wayans - the younger ("type of cops") and Tom Ellis (Lucifer).
The plot will rotate around the Chicago Sports Journalist Meken (Rodriguez). Together with his best friend Adam (Wayans Jr.), the girl is developing a successful dating recipe for short-term relationships. But once the IEC truly falls in love with one of his so-called goals (Ellis), and after that, all acting persons of history have to be aware of the true difference between the fleeting "game" and full-fledged relationships.
Ribbon formulation will be engaged in the director Trish C ("Perfect Voice 3", "This is a nozzle!", "Step forward: all or nothing"). It will work according to the script of Whit Anderson, whose resume includes separate episodes for TV series Netflix "Ozark" and "Sorvigolov". The production of a romantic comedy is supervised by Rodriguez and producers Mark Platt, Ryan Christian, Ross M. Diernstein, Molly Brickin, Ross Jirand, Dan Clark.
