Bivis and Butthead will return to screens. The famous giggle duet of the 1990s will receive a new full-length cartoon. The original continuation of the MTV series has shown in the cinemas in the distant 1996, and the new project will be released by a different release model: the premiere will take place exclusively at the Paramount + streaming service, which will officially be launched on March 4.

This announcement was made on the official YouTube Channel Comedy Central. In a published video, stylized under the Zoom conference, a cultural couple was broadcast on video call and made the appropriate announcement. Terms of implementation remained without clarifications.

Any additional project details, including the possible plot and creative team, have not yet announced. Despite this, the Collider portal suggests that the developer, screenwriter and producer of the original show Mike Jajj, is actively involved in the development of Mike Judge, which last summer has agreed with the management of Comedy Central about creating at least two new seasons "Bivis and Batthead", and with the prospects of potential Extensions on spin-offs and special episodes. It is likely that a full-length cartoon enters the conditions of his new deal.
