Disney + develops rapid pace: the number of subscribers is growing much faster than the planned, and the diversity of content can satisfy even the most demanding users. But the viewers from Russia to immerse themselves in this magic world, it seems to be inconceive, because while Disney does not plan to launch a stream service in the country. This was announced on the eve of the newsletter of the film distribution company Elena Brodskaya.
Brodskaya noted that the launch of the platform in Russia interferes with several factors - in particular, the difficulties established by the legislation related to the requirements for the share of foreign capital in the enterprise, as well as the widespread pirated video. However, the vice-president discovered a positive moment in the fact that domestic viewers will not be able to use Disney +. According to her, this will help the cinemas to come to themselves after the pandemic, because they will be able to present paintings by studios in a traditional format, which invariably cause tremendous interest.
By the way, the series Disney + legally in Russia will not work in any way, and a lot of large-scale launches are ahead of the service - for example, Marvel Sokol and Winter Soldiers show and "Loki". At the same time, in Europe, the stream service not only works successfully, but also acquires the original content intended for the audience specific countries. It is already known that development in this direction is scheduled for Germany, Italy and France.
It is worth noting that the statements of Brodskaya need to be treated with the fraction of skepticism, since the Russian office disney later stated that the article with the company did not agree, and therefore it cannot be considered correct.
