On the eve of the day of all lovers, the MyBook book service conducted a study in order to identify the most romantic book according to Russians. About two thousand people took part in the survey. About the results of the press service of the service told the RIA Novosti agency.
So, the romantic book respondents considered Roman Jane Austin called "Pride and Prejudice". For this work, more than 32% of respondents gave their votes. Further follows the trilogy of Margaret Mitchell "worked by the wind" (24.6%), which became the most popular partly thanks to the screening of 1939 with Vivien Lee and Clark Gablom in high roles. The third place is ranked by Alexander Green "Scarlet Sails" (21.8%).
Also, according to RIA Novosti, among the most romantic works included: "Jane Eir" Charlotte Bronte "Diary of Memory" Nicholas Sparks "P.S. I love you "Cecilia Ahern. "See you with you" Jodjo Moys.
Tens of classic works are closed, among which Master and Margarita Mikhail Bulgakov, Romeo and Juliet, William Shakespeare and Roman Colin McCalow "singing in a thorn."
As for the romantic writers, then the users of MyBook service, in addition to the above-mentioned Jane Austin, Charlotte Bronte and Mikhail Bulgakov, allocated Alexander Pushkin. Moreover, according to 72% of respondents, the books about love largely influenced their point of view regarding feelings, relationships and marriage.
