Recall, the action of the novel, according to which the multi-stage drama is set, begins in 1930 and continues until 1946. His main heroine is a young Tatar woman of Zuuleika Valieva, who lives in the village, much and hard works and suffers constant humiliation from the harsh husband and despotic mother-in-law.
Once her life changes cool: representatives of the Soviet power kill her husband, and pregnant Zuoleha, along with other villagers, St. Petersburg intellectuals and other "enemies of the people" in Siberia. To criticize the series was literally immediately after the release of the first series: the audience lacked important plot lines, but they considered bed scenes unnecessary.
