Actor J. K. Simmons gave an interview with the Sirius FM radio station, in which he told about his role John Jameson, which he played in the film "Spiderman" and in the post-Potitir scene "Man-Spider: away from home":
We have hope that after some time the cinemas will reoper again and the audience will return. And even if it is not, I think movies will be made to display on TV. In general, one more Jameson will soon appear. And, as I heard, there are plans for another one. I like this role in that it is not the biggest, I just appear in several scenes, but I have an impact on everyone while I am in the frame. I do not have to take the burden falling on the share of the main characters, and this is just for me.

J. K. Simmons is a very versatile actor. See what path he passed over the years, since played this character in the film Sam Raymi. Perhaps one day he will play a completely different character. No one did this before, but we liked the idea that a new Jameson may appear in the franchise films. He is not from another dimension, not from another universe, just a new Jameson from this world, played by the same actor.
