Paul Walker died in a car accident in November 2013, when the shooting of "Furious 7" was in full swing. Because of this tragedy, there was a question before producing, it is advisable to continue working on a film without one of his main stars. As a result, it was decided to recycle the script and still finish the picture. The seventh part of the "Forsazha" came out in 2015, having gathered in global boxes over $ 1.5 billion. How did the creators managed to add scenes to the film with the participation of Walker, when the actor himself was no longer alive?

After the plot arch Brian O'Connor in Fursazh 7 was changed, the creative team of the film had to produce about 350 additional frames with Walker, so that his character harmoniously fit into the new version of the script. 90 from the required personnel were provided due to unused doubles and archival materials filmed during the production of previous parts of the "Furies". The remaining 260 frames were completed using the Walker brothers, Caleb and Cody. They performed as a double, and at the stage of the post-sales of their faces were replaced by Walker's face with computer graphics. Since Caleb and Cody appeared very similar to the floor, this approach was justified.

In an interview with 2015, a specialist in visual effects, Joe Letteri told that initially for the replacement of persons was decided to scan the appearance of the Walker brothers to use them as a starting point. As a result, however, they refused this, taking old duplicate with Walker as a period. The complicating circumstance was that on many frames the hero of Walker had to participate in the dialogues, so the sound engineers had to artificially construct the speech of the deceased actor. For this, old audio materials were also used.

Also, Letteri noted that the key task of his VFX team was to achieve as much natural image as possible, because it often happens that computer-modified persons look into the cinema seems to be plausible, but at the same time terribly. Let the resulting result, it is difficult to call the perfect, but a huge box office suggests that the public appreciated the efforts of cinematographers.
