The action of the "Dark Phoenix" will unfold in 1992, after almost a decade after the "Apocalypse": now the people of X are the national heroes that are going on increasingly risky missions. During one of these missions, Gin Gray loses control over his abilities and releases a phoenix to freedom, becoming a threat to himself and all others.
The stars of the franchise James McEvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Holt will be returned to their roles in the Dark Phoenix. The center of the plot will be Jean Gray / Phoenix - the heroine of the star "Games of the Thrones" Sophie Turner, who made his debut in the Universe "X-Men" in the "Apocalypse".
