Norwegian journalists have followed the Tidal Music service during the year and concluded that the company clearly twisters listening to Lemonade album from Beyonce and Life of Pablo from Kanye West. In 2016, both plates in just two weeks listened to hundreds of millions of listeners, but, having enlisted the help of the Norwegian Institute of Science and Technologies, the publication was able to find out that official numbers are overestimated by more than 300 million auditions. Such an intended fraud deprived other artists of fair payments - but Beyonce and Kanye West provided a considerable income.
Lawyers Tidal Music denied offense and declare that the company is out of suspicion. The service has not yet presented official accusations, but the unit of the struggle against economic crimes has already interviewed several of its former employees. This is not the first time Ja Zi provokes scandals. In 2016, Tidal revealed hundreds of unpaid bills, in 2017 Jay Zi was caught on an overestimation of the number of subscribers, and later the service left one of its founders - Kanye West.
