Passion Don Juan (section "Panorama")
The very movie of Joseph Gordon-Levitta "About Porn". In fact, pornography here plays the role auxiliary. Rather, this story is that when you meet the "my man", then all your previous "images", "stereotypes" and the good taste goes to the background. Very funny and well-shot movie. Thank you, Joseph!
Before midnight (outside the contest)
The third film Richard Linklette about the life of Jessie and Celine. This time, the heroes with new friends are going for a big Greek table and speak again, talk, talk. A very penetrating picture with excellent dialogues, which, by the way, wrote the performers themselves by the main roles of Yatan Hawk and Juli Delpi.
Side Effect (Competition)
New York Pair Martin and Emily Tyler are experiencing not the best times. Martin sits in prison, Emily suffers from depression. The feeling of anxiety does not pass, even when the husband goes to freedom. After an unsuccessful attempt of suicide, Emily begins to visit the psychiatrist Jonathan Banks and take the Tablets of Abilks. But events at one point take a very sharp turn. "Side Effect" - a good and exciting thriller Stephen Golberg. Looks at one breath.
Lady Lavin (Competition)
Alvin and Lans are very different, but they are forced to put up with each other's company, as they are united by joint work - the restoration of the road after forest fires. Lance is Elvina's brother, so the latter closes his eyes. In the end, these completely dissimilar people find a common language. Summer work end, but a big friendship is born. After watching, my colleagues in a joke called this film "Bachelor Party in the Forest" (I hope that Russian rollers will not give him such a name). This is a witty and light cinema that holds to a greater extent on the Harizme Paul Radda and Emil Khirsha.
Fall in love to death (the unexpected death of Charlie Countryman)
The strangest competitive film of this year. The picture with the amazing operator's work of our novel by Vasyanov, periodically saving, but at the same time memorable. Charlie dies mom, her spirit will make him visiting Bucharest, be sure. As a nice son, Charlie Countryman quickly flies in Romania, where he meets beautiful Gabi. Then the full turn of the ball begins, forgive me.
Great Masters (outside the Competition)
Film with incredibly beautiful scenes kung fu. Shot with such love that it is impossible not to be fascinated by this picture. The film is a little mansion, but it would not want to forget about it. By the way, the great master there (in essence) one. Why, in Russian car, the number of masters increased - a mystery.
