Executive producer and director of the preparing series about Obi-Vana Kenobi Deborah Chow assured the fans of "Star Wars" that this project is still in force, despite rumors about the possible closure. As a director of "Mandalortz", Chow on behalf of this show recently took part in the ATX festival, which passed in a virtual format. When it was about the mini-series about Obi-Vana, Chow said:

It seems that rumors about the death of a new TV show as part of the Star Wars really turned out to be somewhat exaggerated, because previously the executor of the role of Obi-Van Yuen McGregor also strongly denied information about the closing of the project.
