Despite the fact that many details about the new part of the "ghost hunters" are held secret, Vanity Fair managed to penetrate the scenes of the upcoming film. In particular, the publication had an opportunity to talk with Bill Murrey, who would return to the role of Dr. Peter Venkman. As the actor admitted, he agreed to participate in the "heirs" after exploring the scenario:
The script is good. It has many emotions. It discloses a family topic, and through themes are very interesting. This film will work.
Murray's confidence in the "heirs" is definitely a good sign. The new film will be the sequel of the two previous parts - "Ghostbusters" (1984) and "Ghostbusters 2" (1989). Judging by the newly recently trailer, the third part of the franchise will contain many references to its predecessors.
Although the trailer emphasizes to introduce the audience with new actors, including the heroes of Radda and Finn Wolfhard, most of the original acting of "ghost hunters" will return to the screens.
In addition to Murray, Dan Eykroyd, Ernie Hudson, Annie Potts and Sigurnie Weaver will be returned to their long-standing roles. The director and screenwriter Jason Wrightman admitted that in this film he wishes to revive the joyful excitement, which is inherent in two original parts.
In the Russian rental "Hunters for ghosts: heirs" will be released on July 9th of this year.
