Ryan Johnson took care that all the threads of difficult history were woven together, and could not refuse themselves to show their love for a detective genre through the words of the Craig character. Talking about how they actually were the murder of Harlan Thrombi (Christopher Plammer), Blanc said that all this story was a hole from the bagel in a bubble with a hole.
The monologue led the audience to confusion, and this, according to Johnson, is completely normal. The director was inspired by his passion for mysterious stories, and bright, even if not quite understandable expression, it seemed to him relevant addition to a highly exposure speech.
