According to Variety, Winnik will receive one of the two main roles in the series-procedure of the ABC channel. Previously announced that John Carroll Lynch, Didi Pfaiffer and Ryan Philipp will be removed in the series.
The series, based on the book K. J. Boxing "Highway", will tell about the private detective Cassie Devell (the actress for the role has not yet been appointed) and the former kopeg of Jenny Hoyt (this role will be fulfilled by Winnik), who are looking for two sisters kidnapped by the truck driver.
