The final part of the phenomenal-successful project was entirely removed in the most modern 3D format (as opposed to conversion into stereo-format at the stage of the post - production) and promises a powerful charge of adrenaline not only to fans, but also to all connoisseurs of the genre. Soundtrack to the picture, the release of which is scheduled for October 26 - this is a gorgeous and diverse selection of influential rock names, new, as well as those who do not need a special idea, such as, for example, the name of Chester Bennington, vocalist alternative team Linkin Park. Bennington (with a solo project "Dead by Sunrise") provided the "CONDEMNED" track from the Out of Ashes album and starred in an episodic role in the final part of the saw. About the franchise, an understanding of role-playing requirements and how he got into the project, the musician shared in an interview with the online publication "Artist Direct".

What was the creative process on the shooting? How similar it is like writing music? Was it involved in the filming "Saw 3D" similar to the performance on stage?

I think there are general and distinctive features. When you play the camera, your character is already fully registered. What do you need to do is to find some nuances and convey to the viewer. This requires creative thinking. Throw thoughts that you really are not the character, really requires certain efforts. As for the record of the record, it is a completely different process, because at the initial stage there is no accurate idea. I am not sitting for the tool and do not argue like "You know, I want to write a song about Elf," and then take the case and write a song about Elf [Laughs]. I just do not work. I rather let the thought and give up the free flow of ideas. I have long stopped chasing some specific ideas, therefore, the whole process is very organic, very open, free or something. And with acting otherwise: this is a very detailed approach, all situations in which the actors are thought out to the slightest details, even before they even read the script for the first time. It is like deciphering the character of my character.

What attracted you to a franchise?

Honestly, the first film "Saw" - the coolest horror movie of all time! The way it is! [Laughs]. I hooked on a franchise from the very first series. Every time a new part came out, I probably was the first in cinemas. And then the most unusual way the opportunity to participate in the project. A familiar one of the participants of my group, producer Mark Berg, somehow heard that I am a big fan film. Well, he asked, it would be interesting to me to play. I, of course, immediately said yes! This is the coolest event, which only could happen! " I immediately involved, hoping that I would not relook on the whole world [laughs].

And not blobbed in the blood ...

Bloody action is completely natural in the context of the film. I would be very disappointed if there was no blood. No, well, imagine, my hero, as the postman some, got into the trap and easily got out of it. Not seriously! I wanted a bloody action!

Doesn't you associate the concept of "3D saw" with any of your songs?

I am very glad that I was asked to use "CONDEMNED" in the film, because it really seemed to me that it would be a great topic for a "saw." At that time I was not particularly thoughtful, though. I liked the idea. But I did not insist. I wanted, if it happened, in a natural way. So it happened. Track "CONDEMNED" from the last album of my solo project "Dead by Sunrise" is now in the film, and he seems to me, very organically fits.

What is your interpretation of the character you play in "Pill"?

In fact, it turned out to be a little more difficult than what I imagined. I took a lot of time to understand how this guy was and what were his motives. At some point it even seemed to me that I would complicate myself the process that somehow I think too much about it. Then I met excellent theatrical coaching, which helped me deal with the requirement of a role and especially with the "motives" of my hero. And in a nutshell, everything converges to the fact that my hero was in a very sticky situation and was to work very, very quickly to work with an entrance to break out of the trap.

To find out what will happen to the hero of Chester Bennington and with other victims who survived in previous tests, you can in all cinemas of the country from October 29, 2010.
