During Quarantine Portman wrote the children's book "Basni Natalie Portman", which will go on sale on October 20. The book led classic fairy tales, such as "three piglets" and "hare and turtle", in a modern and more gender-eating key.

It was very cool to do for children a book. I really love them, and it was important for me to have a tangible form of this love, which will serve for them inspiration. I realized that books designed to my daughter are very different from books for my son. I wanted both of them to read classic stories. I needed ordinary stories with characters reflecting our world, which consists of an equal number of men and women. Therefore, I wrote such a book myself.
