Studio Warner Bros. Officially announced that a solo film about superhero Flasha will be released on July 1, 2022. It also became known that Andreas Mussetti, famous as a director of the Dilogy of "It" on the novel of Stephen King, becomes the director of the Dilogy. It is expected that Ezra Miller will play the title role in Flasha, who has already performed a lightning superhero in other films within the expanded DC Universe.

In the face of Mussetti, the project received a specialist in horrors, but the Argentine director himself in an interview with Fandango said that his previous experience in the horror genre would not affect Flashe:
Horror elements? No, I do not think so. What captured me in Flashe, so this is his human drama - those feelings and emotions that filled with the history of this character. The script for Flash will write Kristina Khodson ("Painting Birds"). Ezra Miller and Grant Morrison also offered their own version of the script, but as a result, the producers preferred the version of Khodson. The film's production should start in January 2020.
