Since the shooting of the second season "Mandalortz" ended the right before the introduction of a widespread quarantine, this series will return to the air at initially timely time, that is, in October of the current year. However, does the coronavirus pandemic affect the production of the third season? On this question, in a fresh interview, The Hollywood Reporter replied Showranner John Favro. According to him, despite the current situation, in the future there is no delay foreseen:
Our shooting platform is compact, which is an advantage, because we can limit the number of people present at the site. Many people involved in the process can do their job remotely, sitting in the so-called "brain bar" - in fact, this is a storage with computers. In short, the number of people near the camera can be reduced.

We have a lot of risks, we constantly discuss something, and also evaluate different options using virtual reality tools. We use VR tools in the same way as during the filming of the "King of Lion" and "Jungle Books". Often the actors you see on the screen are actually absent on the set.
In April, it became known that the standards of the Third Season of the Mandalortz had already begun. Obviously, for Disney and Lucasfilm, this project is in priority, so breaks between the seasons promise to be minimal. Probably, the shooting of the third season will begin at the end of this year, and the premiere is pre-scheduled for autumn 2021.
